were given The Peace Pole Project to research for social action presentation.
When you plant a Peace Pole in your community, you are linking with people all over the world who have planted Peace Poles in the same spirit of peace. Every Peace Pole proclaims the prayer May Peace Prevail on Earth in the language of the country and often several other languages as well.
The peace pole is a strong symbol of the peace and tranquillity on earth, It is used by all people and religions Peace-lovers of all faiths have been involved in Peace Pole dedications, including the XIV Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, President Jimmy Carter, Deepak Chopra and John Denver, as well as mayors, clubs and Girl Scouts. Peace love and unity in the community.
